Leading operational plans dynamically: The PLC cycle

Leading dynamically:
The PLC-cycle

Sales Management Cycle: Plan-Lead-Check

Only a minor part of the work is done when the operational plan has been defined.

Leading through with "quick reviews"
Firstly, the operational plan requires "leading through": the CSO must check regularly (for instance, monthly or weekly) if the team members deliver on their obligations. With DELTA T-Selling a firm pattern of "quick reviews" of the operational plan will be established.

Adapting the plan with "deep reviews"
Secondly, the CSO must check the validity of the plan in (larger) intervals and adjust it to new requirements.

Turning the PLC-cycle
The original concept of the PLC cycle was proposed by Shewart. Later, Deming and Ishikawa added one more step (not required for management processes) arriving at the PDCA cycle. In both formats the principle idea is that the owner of the effort needs to turn this wheel of continuous adaptation again and again to ensure that the efforts lead to the goal.

DELTA T-Selling designed for quick and deep reviews
The formats used for operational sales planning in DELTA T-Selling are specifically designed to make both "quick" and "deep" reviews effective and efficient.
